Hey, I'm Zane.

I spend most of my time writing code, breaking things, and figuring out why. Mostly bots, sometimes websites, always something new.

01 | About

Just a guy who
loves building stuff

Been coding for about two years now. Started messing around with HTML and CSS, then picked up JavaScript, and it kind of snowballed from there.

I've built a handful of projects — some websites, some tools, some bots. Nothing crazy, but I've learned a ton doing it and I'm still going.

What I actually know

[ 01 ]

TypeScript

Picked it up not too long ago and it already made my bots way easier to maintain. Still learning the deeper stuff but it's become my go-to.

[ 02 ]

JavaScript

Where everything started. Most of my bots and sites are JS under the hood. Two years in and I'm still finding new things about it.

[ 03 ]

HTML & CSS

Solid foundation from building a few websites. CSS still surprises me sometimes but I can get a page looking the way I want it.

```
[ 04 ]
Node.js
Used it for all my bots and a few backend bits for websites. Still getting comfortable with the more advanced patterns.
[ 05 ]
Cloudflare Workers
Just started experimenting with this. Managed to get a slash command bot running on it which felt pretty cool for a first try.
How I got here
THE BEGINNING
It started with a button
Picked up HTML and CSS about two years ago just out of curiosity. Figured out you could make things move and change on a page and that was enough to get me hooked.
GETTING INTO IT
JavaScript opened things up
Started learning JS and suddenly the stuff I was making could actually do things. A lot of console.log, a lot of Stack Overflow, a lot of slowly getting it.
FINDING MY THING
Building actual projects
Started putting things together for real — tools, sites, little apps. Made around 10 projects over time, some better than others. That's where most of the real learning happened.
RIGHT NOW
Still early, still going
Two years in. Still plenty to learn and that's fine. Building things as avzane, getting better at TypeScript, and seeing where it all leads.
Let's talk about something
Got a project you want to build? Want to collab on something? Or just want to say hi? I'm pretty easy to reach and I actually reply.
